Sally Hansen Salon Effects

Sally Hansen Salon Effects
Laced Up

I received these for free in my Spring Beauty Voxbox from Influenster. About a week before my Voxbox came in I had picked up a pack of Salon Effects in Wishnets. The box says you can get up to 10 days of wear.....
I'm going to have to agree with that. I have had mine on for a week, and I'm showing very little wear! Remember I'm an assistant at a salon, my hands are always in water and I'm always cleaning. The reason I will be taking mine off before the ten days is my nails need to be filled.

Let me explain what Salon Effects are because they are much more than just stickers! Salon Effects are strips of real nail polish. Each box comes with 16 Nail strips, a cuticle stick, a file and instructions. They retail around $9.99 but I have seen them as high as $10.50 and if you are lucky to have a big lots you can snag them for $3 but my local big lots only had 1 pattern. Per the box and instructions you should be able to remove them with acetone nail polish, now being that I have acrylic on I will have to try with non-acetone so I will update once I remove mine.

I will be looking to snag many many more patterns to have in my stash, I really love these! I will say read the directions and follow them to the T and you shouldn't have any issues. When sizing your nails go a size bigger when need to ensure full coverage of your nail, that was a mistake I made, I used smaller or exact size and the nails.

Overall I love these and will grab them up whenever they are on sale! Looking at the pictures this pattern makes my nails look wider, or it could be the angle I took the pictures at. Laced Up is just such a pretty pattern, I will need to grab another box to have around.

This is my right hand, as you can see I messed up my index finger when I applied the strips, BUT that didn't affect the wear time of my nails at all.

This is the other box that I have in my stash, I picked it up in Big Lots for $3!
